Career Goals:
In my career I want to combine my passion for education and science. While don't know exactly what that looks like yet, I imagine working as a Medical Science Lesion or something in a related field. I want to work in relevant cutting edge medicine that helps improve patients quality of life through education.
Background:
I am from South Florida and studied Biology and Secondary Science Education at Florida State University. Upon graduation from FSU, I was a 6th and 8th grade science teacher in Atlanta, Georgia.
Why UNC?:
I chose the PSM Toxicology program because I want to be on the cutting edge of scientific exploration, but I don't want to spend my life in academia doing research. This is the perfect program for someone who wants to further their career as a scientist, but also gain the skills necessary that science industry professionals are looking for.
